Chilterns are shortlisted in this years 'Best of Brandon' Community Awards (BOBs)

Held on Friday 20th April 2018 at Brandon Leisure Centre, the ‘BOB’s’ awards will be presented for volunteer, young volunteer, business and group, along with a special lifetime achievement award.

Following on from the sucessful Tesco Brandon Community Star Awards in 2017 organised by Lianne Spooner, Tesco Brandon's Community Champion, the BoBs are the revised awards, bigger and better than ever.

The BoBs will recognise those who make the Brandon community what it is and Chilterns are extremely exited to have been shortlisted and selected within the top three nominations for the Business award category.

‘We are absolutely thrilled to have been nominated for this award’ commented Chilterns Director Yannis Prodromou. ‘Our business has long been established in Brandon and we have always maintained strong links within the community and provided our support where possible including sponsorship of local events and organisations. It is so important that communities work together for the town they live in and the “BOB’s” offers a unique opportunity for all that hard word and dedication to be recognised. Congratulations to all those shortlisted across the categories and good luck on the night!’

The Best of Brandon community awards are brought to you by Tesco Brandon, Brighter Brandon and the Brandon Town Magazine.

Special thanks also go to Abbeycroft Leisure for allowing the awards ceremony to be held at Brandon Leisure Centre free of charge.
