Negotiate tenancy terms with prospective tenant(s).
Take a Holding Deposit equivalent to one weeks rent from a tenant to reserve the property whilst undertaking references. This holding deposit will either form part of the security deposit or first months rent where the tenancy proceeds.
Take up references including contacting previous landlord, ‘‘Right to Rent’ and credit checks.
Arrange an independently prepared Inventory and Schedule of Condition report.
